Welcome One and All to the Official Care For Callie Website |

This event was held as planned on Saturday June 21st. The rain poured down
for a while but people kept coming! Bands played while people danced in the rain all here to support Callie, Tonya and Ken in their time of need. Donations poured in from corporate sponsors and private donors and a raffle was held of multiple items including a guitar and a guitar processor, tickets to water parks, free spa treatments, pocket books, gift certificates and many more items. Free food and music was provided and the neighborhood where Ken and Tonya live were beyond supportive. Although this event was a big help there is still a long way to go and many financial and emotional struggles to be faced. Callie's Dad Jason Tudor |
Callie is a wonderful little girl who lost her father, Jason Tudor on Saturday May
24th 2008. At the time of his death Jason did not have life or burial insurance.
Ken and Tonya Skinner, Callie's Grandparents, were left with the funeral expenses
for Jason and their continued costs of raising Callie. Jason was also an avid musician so friends & family of Ken, Tonya and Callie helped them bring together the Care For Callie Jam 08. Read more about the event below! This site is dedicated to Jason's memory and for the benefit of Callie. A trust fund is being set up for Callie, more details and a link to donate to the fund are coming soon. Any and all donations to this cause are appreciated. |
